In an unprecedented time, we are writing to you directly, to provide a positive message of reassurance and to keep you informed of the steps the team at Southpoint Star has taken to ensure we are prepared for all possible scenarios. As a brand that is dedicated to safety, our first priority is the safety of our customers and team.
Southpoint Star Remains Open for Business.
As we continue to operate, we have implemented an extensive list of measures to make hygiene and safety our absolute priority.
Cleanliness and Safety in our Dealership.
Whilst we have always had strict hygiene policies and practices at Southpoint Star, we have introduced a number of additional measures to reduce the risk. This includes deep cleaning of our entire dealership regularly throughout the day, with an extra focus on high volume areas. We have cleaning and sanitisation stations at each entry point, all sales and service desks as well as Technician's work bays. We have notices in all areas to demonstrate best practice procedures for hand washing and mitigation of any risks of contamination.
All Demonstrator Vehicles will be sanitised before and after each test drive and we ask that our customers make use of our hand sanitisers both before and after to guarantee their protection.
All Southpoint Star staff have been given strict and detailed instructions on additional measures they should adhere to at this time. This includes guidance on washing hands, personal hygiene and instructions for immediate reporting and self-isolation if they begin to show any symptoms.
Vehicles arriving for service will have all interior surfaces cleaned as soon as they are dropped off, services conducted with barrier methods, and cleaned again once service work is completed. This includes exterior and interior door handles, steering wheels, arm rests, screens and switches, gear levers and paddles and also keys. Additionally, all Service Loan Vehicles are being sanitised immediately before and after being lent out to our customers. We recommend customers take advantage of our Premium Express Service option during this time.
